Running Big for 18 amazing young women!
The weather's turned warm so it is time to pull out my running shoes. Truth be told, I am a fair weather runner and fair cause runner so I need more than just warm mornings to propel me outside. I need a cause. And my cause is 18 amazing young ladies who I work with through Circle de Luz, a non-profit dedicated to radically empowering young Latinas through holistic programming, extensive mentoring, and scholarship funds to pursue further education. When I am with these girls, I see infinite possibility before them but part of our work is compelling them to see those same infinite possibilities- especially in a world that is compelled to tell them there are limits. That's where Circe de Luz and Run Big Dream Big come in. Every month, Circle de Luz provides a range of programs and resources for its participants so that they can see and seize possibility. Run Big Dream Big helps to provide those thoughtful programs by raising funds for Circle de Luz.
