Circle de Luz Run Big Dream Big II

It's been a year since the first Run Big Dream Big for Circle de Luz. In that time, our Hijas have seen the Broadway show Wicked, gone horseback riding, tried a high ropes course on Davidson College's campus, gone hiking and ziplining, taken a tour of UNC-Chapel Hill, performed community service, had college preparatory workshops, had health workshops, tried their hand at pottery, watched and discussed thoughtful movies, visited photography exhibits to name just a few of our outings. These experiences are made possible by the money we raise for programs and so, this year, we are embarking on Run Big Dream Big II in the hopes of raising enough money to provide our 19 girls, ranging from 7th grade until 9th grade, with even more dynamic programming that powerfully impacts their sense of selves and their futures.
